ASSOCIATE PRODUCER: Regular Full-Time: Responsibilities include writing stories and teases, editing video, and creating graphics and supers for newscasts, myfoxdfw.com and associated news partners. The position works closely with producers to help develop and format newscasts and communicates continuously with Reporters, Photographers, the Assignment Desk, Managers and other applicable employees or outside sources regarding story developments and changes. Must possess the ability to write stories for myfoxdfw.com and create content for social media platforms in coordination with producers and managers. Facilitate communication during newscasts regarding live shots and story development. Associate Producers must have the ability to overcome anticipated and unexpected changes when putting together newscasts.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field required. 2 to 3 years' experience as a TV Newscast Associate Producer in a small to medium to major television market required. Ideal candidate must be able to work under tight deadlines and have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Strong knowledge of legal and ethical parameters for mass media is essential. Strong working knowledge of the technical aspects of television news production required, including digital and web-based newsgathering tools. Ideal candidate must be able to use newsroom computer systems, including Avid iNews and Avid search, editing and graphics programs.
REPORTER [4 Positions]: Regular Full-Time: Provide original news content for KDFW FOX 4, myfoxdfw.com, and associated media partners by successfully accomplishing the following responsibilities: gather news information; write news stories, and doing taped and live interviews and reports for KDFW FOX 4, myfoxdfw.com and associated media partners. Must contribute to social media efforts; Initiate research and enterprise stories; Update and follow up on stories and communicate with managers and assignment editors about past, current and future stories. May Anchor on a part time or fill-in basis. Complete required administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
Must have a broad working knowledge of police procedures, the court system, and municipal, state and federal government operations and must have strong knowledge of legal and ethical parameters of reporting for mass media. Ability to work under stressful conditions and deadlines is a must. Maintaining a strong roster of contacts and sources is required. Strong working knowledge of the technical aspects of television news production required, including digital and web-based newsgathering tools. Must be able to use newsroom computer systems, and possess specific expertise in research and computer-assisted reporting. Must be a strong writer and communicator and have the ability to shoot and edit video. A professional appearance is essential. Must annunciate clearly, and maintain a clear delivery during both live and taped reports. Bi-lingual Spanish/English a plus. 4–year college degree required with emphasis in Communications and Journalisms preferred. 3 -5 years' experience in a medium to major market.

Four (4) year college degree required. Two (2) – Three (3) years' experience as a TV newscast producer in a medium to major market. Candidate must have strong news judgment, good writing skills, knowledge of current events and excellent communication and people skills. Knowledge of social media platforms, TV production techniques and newsroom computer systems required.
STAGE MANAGER: Regular Full-Time: KDFW/KDFI currently has an opening for a Stage Manager. The position is responsible for coordinating all activities in the Studios and production areas of the Station. He/She will work closely with the News and Engineering departments. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, cueing and prompting the on-air talent during all newscasts and studio productions. Oversee the staging, lighting and general appearance of the studios. During live or recorded programming, the Stage Manager will take direction from the Show Director. Candidate will also operate the teleprompt system and set and/or change lighting and lighting cues as required for the shows.
Requirements, Skills & Abilities: Four year college degree preferred. Three  or more years full time experience as a Stage Manager in a medium or large television market. Position requires the handling of multiple demands with professionalism and results. The ability to work under pressure and work in a cohesive team environment is a must. This person must have clear verbal skills and a clam, patient, positive demeanor. Must be willing to work nights and weekends and be able to lift 25 to 50lbs.
Account Executive: Regular Full-Time: KDFW/KDFI currently has an opening for an Account Executive. The position will primarily focus on developing new business for Broadcast TV. The successful candidate must be able to identify qualified targets, use strong communication and presentation skills throughout the sales process and maintain a high closing ratio. We are looking for someone that can bring together all our resources (Top Rated Local News, Fox Network, Fox Sports, My Network TV, Web Sponsorships and Promotions) in a creative manner to achieve a high level of results. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, strategically negotiating existing business along with obtaining incremental dollars from the existing market and building strong client relationships. Responsible for completing administrative tasks such as weekly forecasts, monthly reports, new business trackers, weekly meeting forms and the credit and collection of all accounts.
Ideal candidate must possess a proven track record of success in sales. A four year college degree is required. Media sales experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of media math, TV ratings and web metrics is a plus. Candidate must be a self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, creative and passionate to succeed in the highly competitive environment of media sales. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking are critical to the position. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required and knowledge of media related software and research tools is a plus.
VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING: Regular Full-Time: Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining all systems to ensure fault tolerant and error free operations of stations' broadcast equipment including daily oversight of local Hub/Spoke technology to produce efficient, flawless operations. Must effectively manage engineering, production, news technical, facilities, security, mechanical systems and tower/transmitter. Must develop and implement current and long range technical and technological operation plans, prepare departmental expense budgets and oversee the preparation of both current and future capital plans. Must possess the ability to establish procedures and standards for operation and maintenance of equipment and studio operations. Responsible for station compliance with FCC, OSHA and FAA regulations.
Ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of all broadcast systems, government regulations and industry standards to ensure the television stations' technical compliance. Must have significant technical expertise in the planning implementation and maintenance of television station and RF facilities. Understanding of digital and automation technology is essential. Individual must be a strong leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess strong attention to detail, accuracy and strong organization skills. Must have the ability to direct and motivate the technical staff and work well with all station departments. Knowledge of ELC and iTX environments a plus. Bachelor's Degree in electronics/electrical engineering and a minimum of ten (10) years broadcast engineering management experience required. SBE certification is preferred. Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint software a must.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE: Regular Full-Time: KDFW/KDFI currently has an opening for a Director of Finance. The position has significant responsibility for the complete, accurate and timely reports to Management. Responsibilities include but not limited to: preparation of all TVHO required financial reports including Full Year Forecasts and Cash Flow, Base rate, Sports Reporting, Quarter End reports; all recurring and non-recurring journal entries, analysis and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, preparation of detailed account analysis; calculation of FSS sales commissions, preparation of annual barter valuations, fixed assets and depreciation. Also have responsibility for month end close. Actively participates in the annual budget process. Play a key role in the compilation of documentation in support of SOX compliance and internal audits. Support the VP of Finance. Must be organized and maintain complete records/documentation to support independent review of data. Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve station and operational financial issues. Work closely with all department heads regarding department forecasts. Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested. Attend and participate in department and station meetings as required. Represent the station in a manner consistent with business standards and policies of the company. Must be able to work varied hours to complete assigned duties; and tasks within required time frames. The incumbent must be able to adjust to the fluctuating demands of a television station.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with major or concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is required. Broadcast Finance is preferred. A CPA or CMA is required. MBA is required. A minimum of eight(8) years of general accounting, forecasting, or budgeting experience is required. Candidate must demonstrate a good working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, have good math skills, be proficient in Microsoft office with a heavy emphasis in Excel and operate a 10-key by touch. Fox Station Sales
Account Executive (Full-Time, Reg.) 2 Openings: Fox Station Sales currently has two openings for an Account Executive. The Account Executive must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently and part of a sales team. The candidate will be responsible for developing revenue through group deals; follow and execute each step of the development process. Target accounts (with national or promotional budgets); do pre-sell research, devise a strategy, make appointments with decision makers, write and conduct presentations, negotiate and close business.
Ideal candidate must have a combination of national and spot selling experience. Minimum of three (3) years of spot/local television sales is required. Must be a self-starter and must be able to coordinate activities with outside offices when appropriate. The candidate must have the ability to accurately assess the status of long term proposals. Must have knowledge of power point and excel helpful.
Sales Assistant (Full-Time, Reg.): Fox Station Sales currently has an opening for a Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant is responsible for the day to day tasks involved with the order activity process. These tasks include but are not limited to order entry, order maintenance, and contract reconciliation. Must be able to multi-task, organize and maintain multiple accounts in a fast paced atmosphere. The position deals directly with clients and advertising agencies in handling paperwork, makegoods and program changes.
